I recently heard former ambassador Joe Wilson give a lecture at Denison University. It was very interesting to hear him talk about his wife and his career in the foreign service. Of course, he had a lot to say about Iraq too.

I recently bought two new CD's! The first one is Eine Kleine Kaffeemusik by the Mulfingers. I first heard it back in 1998 when it was new, and I was recently reminded how much I loved it. During college, it seemed like at least one of my roommates owned it so I was always listening to it. Of course, I also seem to remember a dusty copy of it constantly playing in the pottery room of the art building. So for the last couple of days, I've been listing to "October" a lot, and it has brought back many memories! The second one is the new Soundforth CD called A Quiet Heart. It is a refreshing recording of beautiful, peaceful music. I highly recommend both CD's!
