Memorial Day Weekend
So far it's been a great Memorial Day weekend! First, I read a very good article in Christianity Today about how some historically Christian colleges that have slowly secularized are now attempting to regain somewhat of a Christian identity. Although there is much in the article with which I disagree, the author makes many excellent observations. ". . . Southern Baptist colleges and universities face a stark choice. They must either build new kinds of Christian foundations for their schools, or watch the Christian character of their schools fall into disrepair."
Second, I once again listened to an outstanding 1951 BJU Bible Conference sermon by Dr. James Macginlay. It's the only one of his messages on Sermon Audio, but I hope that they'll put more on soon. The title is "Can Two Walk Together?," and his text is from Amos 3.
